Atif has been a student, teaching assistant, and advisory board member for University Beyond Bars and Unloop, and he now assists in Edmonds College’s Web Application program.
He is working on an honors thesis for his bachelor’s degree through Ohio University and has published essays on prison, mass incarceration, education, and philosophy, while contributing policy research to community groups working on effective criminal justice models and public health in Washington State prisons.
He is currently incarcerated at MCC.
